My Story

As an educator, my aspiration is to instill hope in students, empowering them to be the change they want to see. I prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion in my teaching strategies, utilizing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) to foster a supportive environment.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree from Claflin University and a Master’s Degree from Columbia International University, and I’m currently pursuing a Master of Education through the Alternative Route Program at the City University of Seattle.

Having been a student with an Individual Education Plan (IEP), I am passionate about Special Education and believe that a strong community and dedicated teachers can help all students thrive.

Currently, I serve as a Teacher Instructional Assistant for Seattle Public Schools, and I am excited about my journey as an educator.
